  • Make my way through the “Great Books”
  • Grow vegetables for the family one season
  • Fresh herb garden (for one year)
  • Write a book
  • Spanish – fluently
  • Teach a college course
  • Take ballet lessons
  • Attend TED
  • Take a two-week vacation without computers
  • Knit/crochet an heirloom blanket
  • Wear a large hat at the Kentucky Derby
  • Write a million dollar check to a charity
  • Manage my investment portfolio like a rock star (or like a really awesome investment adviser and not so much like many rock stars)
  • Arrive at my goal weight. (Consider hanging out there for awhile.)
  • Get my Ph.D.
  • Run a half marathon
  • Consider whether I want to run a full marathon. Make a decision. Move forward.
  • Learn CPR
  • Master my Nikon D50
  • Take piano lessons
  • Ride an elephant
  • Drive more than 100 miles per hour
  • Make a quilt
  • Learn to ski. Become a ski bunny. (Wear ears?)
  • Do 100 sit ups
  • Develop old skool film in a dark room
  • Buy a plot of land so large I can’t see my neighbors. Build a two room “house” on site. Visit really often.
  • Go on a hike with only a compass as a guide
  • Be quoted in the New York Times
  • Also, the Wall Street Journal (my in-laws will be thrilled)
  • Piece of art of my creation hanging on the walls of my house
  • Aerosmith concert (better hurry)
  • Teach a kid to sew like my grandma taught me
  • Make a piece of pottery
  • Make a robot. (Turn him into our family mascot and place him in the entryway?)
  • Throw a tarts and vicars party
  • Learn to draw
  • Knit a sweater (that I can wear in public)
  • Go to race car driving school at Skip Barber with G
  • Ride my bike 50 miles in one day
  • Ride bitch seat with a motorcycle gang
